      Hana Creger

Autonomous Vehicles and the “Mobility Divide”

Hana Creger is Environmental Equity Program Manager at The Greenlining Institute, an Oakland based policy, research, organizing, and leadership institute working for racial and economic justice in a variety of major policy areas, from the economy to environmental policy, health care and many others. She is lead author of the 2019 report “Autonomous Vehicle Heaven or Hell? Creating a Transportation Revolution that Benefits All.”

Hana is a graduate of San Diego State University with a degree in Sustainability, with a particular interest in environmental justice and equity. Prior to joining Greenlining, Hana worked as a community organizer, advocating for climate change action and public transit policies in San Diego, and most recently, implemented innovative campaigns for Alameda County’s Clean Commute Program.

Ms. Creger will summarize the findings of her recent report, and lead a discussion on how putting the focus on the human implications of autonomous vehicles can help address the “mobility divide” between the haves and have-nots.

Cost: Payment required - Lunch is $17 to $23, cash only, free for non-eaters, RSVP to (650) 969-7215 (leave a message)
