Dare to Lead™ PART TWO - The Work of Brene Brown

Village Well is thrilled to collaborate with Lisa Williams-Kirby, Life Coach and Certified Dare to Lead Facilitator. Lisa was hand selected from thousands to attend this extensive training with Brene Brown. And now she wants to share this wisdom with us!  If you have completed Dare to Lead™ Part One training, at the completion of this weekend, you will be Dare to Lead™ Trained, and have the opportunity to add that badge to your LinkedIn profile.  In an effort to empower more women, Lisa is graciously offering this TWO DAY training weekend at a special introductory rate.  A catered lunch will also be provided both days.  We will be covering the following topics: •Shame •Empathy •Armored Leadership vs. Daring Leadership •Grounded confidence and Rumbling skills •Living into our values •BRAVING Trust •Learning to Rise – The Rising Strong Process •Rumbling with our SFD’s •The revolution and closing Dare to Lead™ is based on the research of Dr. Brené Brown, Dare to Lead™ is an empirically based courage-building program designed to be facilitated by organizational development professionals. Brené is a research professor at the University of Houston where she holds the Huffington Foundation – Brené Brown Endowed Chair at The Graduate College of Social Work. She has spent the past two decades studying courage, vulnerability, shame, and empathy, and most recently completed a seven-year study on courageous leadership. She is the author of five #1 New York Timesbestsellers: The Gifts of Imperfection, Daring Greatly, Rising Strong, Braving the Wilderness, and Dare to Lead, which also debuted at #1 on The Wall Street Journal and Publisher’s Weekly lists. The most significant finding from Brené’s latest research is that courage is a collection of four skill sets that are teachable, measurable, and observable. The Dare to Lead™ program focuses on developing these courage-building skills through workshops, trainings and coaching to help individuals, teams and organizations move from armored leadership to daring leadership. How does that apply to us as individual women? We have the opportunity to influence those around us. Our co-workers, our companies, and most importantly, our families. We all lead to one capacity or another, even if that leadership is of ourselves. Choosing to be vulnerable, to lean in, be brave and do the work, that's where it starts to get good. In our time together, we'll look at the Four Pillars of Courage and learn practical ways we can incorporate Brené’s work into our lives. Please join us as we dedicate a weekend of raising one another up to be the very best version of ourselves.  Your registration will reserve your spot for BOTH Saturday February 1, and Sunday February 2, 2020, 9am-4:30pm. This event will be limited to 10, so please reserve your spot today.
