You can email us for more information, for any dietary restriction requests, or assistance with understanding potential health insurance coverage options.  About Dr. Sethi Dalai  Dr. Sethi Dalai is the Founder and Medical Director of Silicon Valley Metabolic Psychiatry, a new center in the Bay Area focused on optimizing brain health by integrating low carb nutrition, comprehensive psychiatric care, and treatment of obesity with associated metabolic disease. With expertise in obesity medicine and adult eating disorders. Dr. Sethi Dalai received her MD from Duke University School of Medicine, Masters in Biotechnology from Johns Hopkins University, and completed her residency training in Psychiatry at Stanford, where she created the adult eating disorders training pathway for future resident physicians. Dr. Sethi Dalai is currently the principal investigator of a study on the effectiveness of a low-carbohydrate dietary intervention in an outpatient cohort of patients with obesity and bipolar illness or schizophrenia; she was awarded a grant by the Obesity Treatment Foundation to support this research. She is also a co-investigator on a clinical trial testing an FDA approved obesity medication for binge-eating disorder and bulimia nervosa at Stanford University, funded by SPARK at Stanford School of Medicine. Dr. Sethi Dalai won the national Symonds Fellow Award from the Association of Women Psychiatrists for innovation and leadership in psychiatry and contributions to women’s health. She is a member of the Obesity Medicine Association, American Psychiatric Association, and served on the executive council of the Northern California Psychiatric Association. About Dr. Vasan  Dr. Nina Vasan is the Founder and Medical Director of Silicon Valley Executive Psychiatry, a new concierge mental health clinic focused on optimizing brain health and providing a comprehensive, individualized program to target the unique cultural stressors of executives and entrepreneurs. Dr. Vasan received an MD from Harvard Medical School, where she was chosen by classmates to serve as a commencement speaker. Compelled by her own personal struggles, she is now working to apply her experience in entrepreneurship to brain health. She is the Founder and Director of Brainstorm: The Stanford Lab for Mental Health Innovation (www.stanfordbrainstorm.com), the world's first academic laboratory dedicated to transforming mental health through entrepreneurship. Dr. Vasan and Brainstorm's team are authoring a book on tech ventures in brain health; they were named by The Financial Times and McKinsey to the international Bracken Bower Prize for the best business book proposal of the year shortlist. Named a "40 Under 40 Healthcare Innovator" by MedTech Boston, she is the Chair of the Committee on Innovation and Founder of the Psychiatry Innovation Lab at the American Psychiatric Association. She worked at McKinsey & Company in Silicon Valley advising healthcare payers and providers, and also advises investors, philanthropists, and healthcare startups. She graduated from Stanford's Adult Psychiatry Residency Training Program, where she was a Chief Resident, and from Stanford's Graduate School of Business (MBA '18). She is currently a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry of Stanford University School of Medicine.
